Hi, I’m Susie, a surface pattern designer and textile designer originally from the UK and now based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

With a background in the New York fashion textile industry, I bring international experience to my work while creating from my home studio in sunny, subtropical Australia. My designs are hand painted and hand drawn, celebrating colour, movement, and a playful sense of joy.

I’m fuelled by a lifelong love of drawing, painting, and textile design, and I’m known for my colourful, joyful patterns that radiate positive, feel-good vibes. My work is inspired by global cultures, travel, everyday moments, and the vibrant natural beauty of Australia, resulting in designs that feel expressive, uplifting, and full of life.

I create surface pattern designs and textile artwork for use across fashion, swimwear, homewares, wallpaper, stationery, and fabric, and my artwork is available for licensing and creative collaboration. I love working with brands who value colour, craftsmanship, and designs that spark happiness and connection.
